Bank Holiday Monster
It was drizzling a bit on the weekend so i tucked myself up in an armchair, watching documentaries on BBC iPlayer, and got to work on a new sock based fellow. Here he is, fresh and bleary eyed into the world, for your delectation. I got a few shots of him while he limbered up and prepared to squeeze into a jiffy bag, for a ride with Royal Mail to his new owner. And remember - if you ever comes across one after dark, beware. Don’t chuck water on him, or feed him cheese - all hell breaks loose. You have been warned… How to make your own - tutorial here.

Allover the place :) These ones were sent in by a Monster-Muncher. But i’ll find out where, cos i want some too.
Generally i just pick them up when i see them. Some were hiking socks from Colorado, some from markets like Brick Lane, or pound shops are good. My Mum’s always on the look out for them too! I reckon Camden Market would be the ultimate place to find long stripy socks. I think Topshop would be a good bet for crazy colours too.

I have to stick him in the post now i’ve snapped him. But i’ll be very sad to see him go. We’ve become good friends in the last 48hrs. And he’s a good’en!
The socks are from Uniqlo apparently, so i’ll have to get over there and bag a few :)
