Games as Ads, and Hijacking Ads to be part of Games
Have a go with this cute little number. It works in a way i’ve never seen done.
There’s an interesting subversion of regular ad space, to make part of the game - the game that’s really an ad that is …
Where’s the line between selling you fun so you’ll buy a product, or selling you a product so you can have fun .. ? The idea spans multi urls but in a super simple way. I’m into that idea at the moment as you can probably tell by all these balloons floating around!

It’s funny you mention this Nicky because I did a site this year for M&Ms and Indiana Jones and they have a gate
upfront to stop kids from playing because of the ad laws here in the US. All in all I love pitching games as ads personally.
Check it out, let me know what you think. http://mms.com/us/indianajones

Hey i had a go on your Indiana Jones game. Good fun
i like the aesthetic of the maze and the little mini adventures as you go through. How long do you reckon it takes to finish it ?
What’s the US law then ? That kids can’t play games that are pushing product, or can’t be exposed to advertising of junk foods and sweets? Seems a bit odd, it’s not like it’s an Indiana Poker site!

Yeah the law is that companies can’t aggressively advertise to kids in any kind of indirect way. It takes me about 5 minutes because they made the first game much harder than I expected. That spider is fast. Well that US advertisers were so devious in the past a lot of laws got passed to protect children and the companies are terrified of law suits.
