James Joyce at Kemistry
Thursday night me and Stina went down to the opening of Joycey’s new show and the Kemistry Gallery. He’s absolutely rammed every square inch with giant colourful screen prints. It’s looking wicked. ( Although it was pretty hard to see round in the evening as the tiny gallery was chock solid with eager viewers! ) If you get a chance to go down do. There’s a whole bunch of stuff i wanna get! The best one is of a mixing desk covered in buttons and dials, tagged with cheeky opposites for On and Off. That’s what i like about his work is the little twists of humour in there. Good stuff Joycey! You can see more ( like his shop front for Carhartt and this cool music thing for Levi’s ) over at his site One Fine Day. And also past shows at Kemistry here. Happy browsing : )
