It seemed like a good idea to me; given that faster response times mean more chance of a scoring points at FTB. All other types of posts don’t auto-twitter only the once daily guessable blanks. Ho-hum I see I’ve made some sort of laughable blognoob faux-pas.
I’ll bow to the assembled blog-gods here and back out of this cyber-Olympus frantically tugging my pixelated forelock to the snorts of derision :)

Hey JT. Film The Blanks is totally different. You’re announcing the next round of a game that could be happening anytime. I’d say that’s a very worthwhile use of twitter! That’s what twitter’s good for - getting in there first :)
Although no matter how fast i am there’s always some annoying bugger got there first! ;) I may just have to buckle and buy a poster instead ;)

Phew! That’s a relief I thought I’d done the bogging equivalent of following through in the jacuzzi. I must admit it’s easy to get carried away with plugs and widgets on wordpress. Just to check… I’m about to install ‘dancing baby’ widget… that’s still cool right? :)
